What Is PET Film Sheet?
PET film sheet is a clear, strong polyester material supplied as flat sheets or wide rolls that can be cut, printed, laminated or thermoformed. It is based on polyethylene terephthalate, the same resin used for BOPET packaging films and APET thermoforming sheets, so you get a combination of clarity, stiffness and impact resistance in one material.
Depending on your process, CloudFilm can offer PET film sheet as flexible web for form-fill-seal lines, or as semi-rigid sheet closer to traditional APET tray stock. This gives converters and brand owners a single PET platform for both flexible packs and rigid formed packs.

Compared with many commodity plastics, PET offers higher tensile strength, better dimensional stability and more reliable performance at elevated temperatures, making it suitable as an outer or structural layer in demanding packaging and industrial designs.
The underlying PET resin has a density around 1.33 g/cm³ for amorphous sheet and about 1.38–1.40 g/cm³ for biaxially oriented films, which helps you achieve good stiffness and barrier in relatively thin gauges. Formats, Thickness And Customization
For sheet-type applications, CloudFilm typically supplies PET film sheet in thickness ranges similar to APET thermoforming stock, for example roughly 150–800 μm, with other gauges available on request. Widths are customized to match your thermoforming, die-cutting or sheeting equipment, and we can deliver jumbo rolls for in-line forming or pre-cut sheets for offline processing.
