Coffee Packaging Bags Description

Freshness & Barrier Engineering

Coffee is uniquely sensitive to oxygen, moisture, light, and off-odors. Our coffee packaging bags combine degassing valves with tuned high-barrier laminations—such as PET/AL/PE for maximum protection, PET/EVOH-PE for transparent barrier, and recyclable PE/PE when sustainability is the priority.

The result is stable flavor curves, controlled aroma release, and dependable shelf performance from roastery to retail.

Formats That Fit Your SKUs

From stand-up pouches to side-gusset and flat-bottom bags, each format is engineered for fill efficiency, cube utilization, and merchandising. Zippers, tin-tie style closures, tear notches, and euro-holes can be combined to meet your exact brewing ritual and price point.

For short runs or multi-SKU drops, digital printing unlocks vivid graphics, fast revisions, and low MOQs—ideal for seasonal blends or subscription programs.

Brand-First Surfaces & Converting Details

FAQ

Which structures work best for whole beans vs. ground coffee?

Whole beans with active degassing usually pair with PET/AL/PE + valve for maximum oxygen and light barrier, especially for export or long shelf life. Ground coffee can often use PET/AL/PE or PET/EVOH-PE depending on how visible you want the product to be. For recyclable projects, we can evaluate mono-PE coffee bags based on your local recycling streams.

Do I need a degassing valve on every coffee bag?

For freshly roasted beans filled shortly after roasting, a one-way valve is strongly recommended to vent CO₂ and prevent bag swelling or seam failure. For pre-de-gassed coffee, instant coffee and some ground coffee SKUs, the valve may be optional; our team can advise based on your roast profile and filling process.

What bag size should I choose for 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg coffee?

As a guideline, 200–250 g works well in a compact stand-up pouch with bottom gusset, 340–500 g often uses side-gusset or flat-bottom coffee bags, and 1 kg or larger SKUs typically use side-gusset or quad seal bags for better stability. Share your target fill weight and bean density and we will suggest exact dimensions.

Can CloudFilm supply both roll stock and premade coffee bags?

Yes. CloudFilm manufactures films such as BOPP, PET, PA and PE and then converts them into premade coffee packaging bags. If you run your own pouch-making or VFFS/HFFS lines, we can supply roll stock under the same specification as your premade bags to simplify quality control.

Can you support low MOQs and fast artwork changes for new blends?

For new or seasonal blends, we often recommend digital printing so you can start with low MOQs and update artwork quickly. Once your design and volume are stable, you can switch to gravure printing to optimize unit cost while keeping the same visual identity.

Are recyclable coffee bags available?

CloudFilm offers mono-PE coffee packaging bags and other recyclable-oriented structures. We balance sealability, stiffness and barrier so the bags still run on your line and protect the coffee. Tell us your target markets and we will indicate which structures better align with local recycling guidelines.

What documents can you provide for food contact and export?

On request, we can provide declarations of compliance, migration test reports, COA, packing lists and photos before loading. This helps you pass audits from roasteries, importers and retailers more easily.

How long is the lead time for custom printed coffee packaging bags?

Lead time depends on structure and printing method. Plain or digital-printed coffee bags can usually be produced faster, while gravure-printed high-barrier laminations require additional cylinder and curing time. Once we know your order quantity and artwork status, we will confirm a realistic lead time and shipping schedule.

Can you match my current supplier’s coffee bag structure and design?

Yes. If you share a spec sheet or send us samples, CloudFilm can reverse-engineer the structure and dimensions, then propose an equivalent or optimized option. We can also help refine artwork while keeping your existing brand look.

Do you ship coffee packaging bags worldwide?

CloudFilm regularly ships flexible packaging to ports in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. We support FOB Qingdao or CIF terms and can coordinate pallets, carton labeling and container loading photos so your logistics team has full visibility.
